But the whole concept here is there are specific techniques to approach doing a rangoli that make a rangoli more popular among the masses . This does not mean that a rangoli has to be done only in a rigid way of thinking, this post just implies how the some of the designs have specific features in common that appeal to a greater mass or are more popular.
These might be some of the concluded points to look into :
- First and foremost , clean the surface area on which you start making the rangoli.
- Next , check for your design ingredients ,if you have got all the colours you require.We can add flowers ,flowers of all colours , diyas or earthen candles , or any decorative stuff you want to add to your rangoli.
- Make sure you have a lot of the white powder in supply,as it helps bring out the powder consistency in your rangoli,when you add it to other coloured powders.
- This white powder can be used to borderline your rangoli and this brings the rangoli design vibrantly.

Most rangolis use either a Lotus design , Peacock design , a flower design or a Goddess face.
These are the design mostly in rave in common households of India. They are particularly preferred as they indicate festivity or positivity in the house. Ofcourse you may have a better view about these rangoli designs , any sort of creativity is appreciated .
