GITA VERSES TO LEAD  A  SATISFIED , HAPPY  LIFE

Hey everyone,
here are some excerpts from the Holy book of Gita that i found from numerous sources. Hope these would enlighten you with knowledge and faith in you.

Lord said:
संनियम्येन्द्रियग्रामं सर्वत्र समबुद्धयः।
ते प्राप्नुवन्ति मामेव सर्वभूतहिते रताः।।12.4।।

English translation by Swami Gambhirananda
12.4 By fully controlling all the organs and always being even-minded, they, engaged in the welfare of all beings, attain Me alone.

English translation by Swami Sivananda
12.4 Having restrained all the senses, even-minded everywhere, intent on the welfare of all beings -- verily they also come unto Me.

यो मां पश्यति सर्वत्र सर्वं च मयि पश्यति।
तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति।।6.30।।

English translation by Swami Gambhirananda
6.30 One who sees Me in everything, and sees all things in Me-I do not go out of his vision, and he also is not lost to My vision.

" yada yada hi dharmasya galnir bhavati bharata
abhyutthanam adharmasya tadatmanam srjamy aham"

Whenever and wherever a decline of righteousness and a predominance of unrighteousness prevails;at that time I manifest Myself personally, O descendant of Bharata.

 "vasamsi jirnani yatha vihaya
navani grhnati naro ’parani
tatha sarirani vihaya jirnany
anyani samyati navani dehi"

"Sri Krishna said: As a human being puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones."

"nainam chindanti shastrani
nainam dahati pavakah
na chainam kledayanty apo
na sosayati marutah"

Sri Krishna said: The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind.

" Karmanye Vadhikaraste,
Ma phaleshou kada chana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhur
matey Sangostva Akarmani"

You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of the actions. Do not let the fruit be the purpose of your actions, and therefore you won’t be attached to not doing your duty.

"Whatever happened was good
Whatever is happening is good
Whatever will happen will also be good
What of yours has gone to make you cry ?
What did you bring with you that you have lost ?
What did you create which is now destroyed ?
What you have taken you have taken only from here.
What was given was given only from here.
What is yours today, was someone else's yesterday, will be someone else's tomorrow.
 Change is the law of the the universe"
